Exercise for love handles, is it painful? Depends on what you do. It doesn’t have to be painful.

Those nasty lumps of fat at your sides are what is termed as ‘love handles’. There’s nothing lovely about them so where the name comes from I don’t know.

The technical term for love handles is obliques, after the oblique muscles which sit at an angle at each side. The word oblique mean ‘at an angle’.

In the fitness & health industry the standard advice starts with – eat healthily, exercise moderately, balanced diet – and all the other rubbish they spout.

We are well aware of all that advice but we need an easy way without any real work, is it possible?

Well, let me say this, yes it’s possible to eat like you are now and lose your love handles but it will take an enormous amount of work.

Your biggest problem is that while you exercise your love handles off, with hard time in the gym. Today’s junk food is travelling merrily to your waist.

If, and it’s a big if, you could stop with the all the bad food you wouldn’t have to do nearly as much exercise to maintain a great body.

It’s about compromise. How much do you really want to lose those love handles? Is it enough to make a change to your lifestyle?

Or will you choose to work much harder and still enjoy all the junk foods you do now. That one is up to you.

Example exercises for love handles are side bends. If you eat like you do now you may need to do a couple hundred of these a day to stay as you are. Or make the lifestyle change and only need to do fifty to get rid of the love handles.

You can see from the above example how it’s a trade off. Eating junk means more exercise, eating better means less exercise.

As a person, I’m lazy. I try to eat the best options, this way it keeps the exercise to a minimum. I still exercise for love handles but only to stop them appearing again.

To wrap it up, it will indeed hurt if you have to do masses of exercise for love handles. Far better to minimise the exercise by altering your lifestyle a bit.

Got the determination to do this? Check out my site for a review of the weight loss system I use everyday. You got nothing to lose but love handles!

I see my adult life as part one and part two. Although there is weight loss involved here it’s not why I see it in two parts.

In my case the before is (yes being overweight) before I was struck with diabetes. After is obviously the fall out after getting (and dealing with) it.

I knew I was carrying a bit of extra girth but I never thought 15 pounds or so was dangerously overweight for someone in my mid twenties.

I’d been on the diet merry go round many times but I lacked the motivation. Plus I’d brainwashed myself into thinking I can’t lose weight.

When I was motivated it seemed to take ages to lose a few pounds. When I wasn’t motivated it seemed to take about a day to pile it back on.

Then disaster, or what seemed like disaster for me. Struck with diabetes, and all the possible complications that come with it.

I was told in no uncertain terms to drop the weight, or suffer. I had to stop thinking I can’t lose weight and start thinking I can lose weight.

Just what was I gonna do? Up until now I believed I can’t lose weight. Now I’m faced with finding a system that works for me.

I figured I should go with something that suits me. I like things nice and orderly. I’m a bit OCD so I like to know I’ve ticked the boxes and I’m doing things right.

If the steps were planned meals or exercise routines then I’d need to tick off that it was complete. This way I know I’m sticking to the game plan.

I had differing levels of success with all manner of dieting systems and gizmos. Some quite expensive! I read plenty of books and lots of Ebooks.

I actually discovered a neat system that has a computer generated diet planner. Better still it doesn’t restrict my meal sizes! It takes all the stress out of planning the correct meals and diet.

I mentioned earlier that I like to tick the boxes off when I’m doing something, well this system ticks all the boxes for me. Forgive the little joke there!

If you too think you can’t lose weight then let me tell you from experience you are 99% wrong in thinking that. Maybe you just haven’t found the system that works for you yet. Maybe that system is the one I use?

You can check out a few things I’ve used and my current fav system in a few reviews I’ve put on my blog. You’ve got nothing to lose but weight!

It is not surprising that many individuals are now trying to lose weight and shed off extra calories. The previous holidays have put many in a disadvantage now as far as physical look and health are concerned because of the too-hard to resist delicious platters of holiday foods and glasses of caloric drinks.

So for the New Yearís resolution, it is more likely that most people are including diet and fitness program in the list. Due to the demand, this means many are enrolling in gym fitness centers while others are making a trip to fitness stores to get home fitness equipment.

To many, choosing to buy home fitness equipment is more enticing than enrolling in a gym center. It is a better choice indeed to many people who have difficulty juggling time between work and workout. It is also most ideal to people who just canít enroll in an exercise program particularly because the local gym center is out of the way or far from the house.

On the other hand, it also has a disadvantage. Just like most people ending up not going to the gym often after signing up due to many inconveniences, having exercise equipment at home for a self-workout regimen poses the same problem. Many acquire expensive equipment only to end up not using it at all. The machine just gets stored and collects dust pile, which is a shame because it should have been more of an advantage to you thatís why you bought it in the first place.

To avoid yourself from ending up in the same dilemma, check some pointers below to help maximize your home fitness equipment

Get the right equipment

One reason that leads most people to the situation mentioned above is due to the wrong choice of equipment. Therefore, it is important that you get the right one that answers your needs so that you can maximize its use and thus will be easier for you to achieve your goal of keeping fit all year round.

Your choice can be an elliptical trainer, stationary bike, or any cardio equipment that will not only make your heart healthy but your overall physical as well. Knowing the advantages of each of the equipment available in the market will help you decide which is the most ideal to bring home. Simple options for strength building include Iron Gym, Perfect Pushup, or Perfect Pullup

Position the equipment at the right area in your home.

Positioning the equipment at the right location in your home will help maximize its use. Where you position it is a factor as well that affects the frequency of its use. It must be stored where you have enough space to operate and use it, and the right ambiance and temperature so it doesnít get uncomfortable when you are working out.

Some place exercise equipment inside the bedroom especially if it is small enough to be accommodated. This gives them the advantage since they can be easily pulled out and get used at any time of the day. But if you have a number of machines, it is more advised that you have a nice room where you can put them all in and turn it into a mini gym.

And most important of all, have your goal and discipline.

Needless to say, discipline is the best weapon you can use to avoid leaving your equipment collecting dust in the corner. It is also the best passport towards achieving the desired weight and physical fitness.

As easy as it may seem, buying exercise equipment takes a lot of considerations. Let us look at the factors that really matter when making a purchase:

Determine your goal

The entire process of selecting which type of exercise equipment is right for you and how much do you need to spend for it relies on what goals you wish to accomplish along with your current fitness level. So before selecting one or limiting yourself to which treadmill or elliptical trainer is right for you, ask yourself, “What do I want to achieve?” Do you wish to improve your cardiovascular health? Do you want to develop strength? Do you wish to boost your energy? Such questions, when answered right away would lead you to identifying which type of equipment do you really need.

Set your Budget

The second, most important thing you need to determine is how much you are willing to spend on a particular type of home fitness equipment. Different types of exercise equipment have varying costs. A good treadmill costs from $1500 to $3500. An elliptical trainer ranges from $200 to $5000. A stationary bike ranges between $500 and $1000. The old adage, “you get what you pay for” still applies here so make sure that you balance between affordability, features and usability.

Note:
Not because you can use your credit card to purchase a thousand dollar elliptical trainer or a $3000 treadmill means that you can afford it. Study your financial position and know exactly how much you can spend on a certain purchase.

Space

Aside from your goal and budget, the 2 other equally important things to remember when purchasing exercise equipment are: to test the equipment and to measure the size of the equipment. While the former is somewhat automatic, the latter is often overlooked, simply because when you are at the store, it is hard to tell if the equipment will really fit in to your available space. So consider the space needed for the equipment. (This applies whether you have a home gym whole room or just a small space in the living room.) If both space and budget are an issue consider simple solutions like Perfect Pushup, Iron Gym, or Perfect Pullup.

Shop Around

A wise shopper does not settle in one store. Visit at least 2 stores to compare prices of the same equipment. It also pays to do your research online so that you are armed with the right information about a particular product you are eyeing at. Read product reviews whenever it is available.

Do not be deceived

People will do everything to make a sale. So if you see TV ads saying that you can lose several inches off your waist or lose several pounds after a week, don’t fall prey. Yes, they sound too good to be true, and they are. Quick-fix products with “before” and “after” testimonials may be too attractive but remember this: bodies do not change radically after a number of sessions. Because if it does, everyone who desires to have a six-pack abs or who wants to lose pounds upon pounds of weight should be contented right now.

Consider all the cost

Transportation, shipping, installation and other extra charges can pile up easily. So before buying one, make sure that you take note all these charges so that you will be ready for the total amount that you have to pay.

It’s necessary that you eat proper food following your workout sessions to compensate for the lost energy and nutrition. In order to speed up the results of your regular workout, choosing the right foods is essential. Post workout nutrition, therefore, has to become an integral part of your daily workout regime.

The muscle tissue tends to break down after an intense workout session. To counter this, you should have an easily digestible meal immediately post workouts helping the muscles recover sooner than usual.

The post-workout meal is often skipped by people. This meal, however, is most important when it comes to recouping the muscles and achieving the desired results in the shortest period of time.

Carbohydrates and Protein should be in the ratio of 3:1 in your meal in order for it to be easily digestible. This meal is digested very easily and therefore, the body absorbs the nutrients very quickly. Such a post-workout meal should consist anywhere between 350 to 500 calories depending upon the individual. This is essential for muscle growth and faster muscle recovery.

Fat is usually difficult to be digested. So, be sure to avoid a fatty meal. Including fat in your post-workout meal will slow down the digestion and absorption processes. Trust me, you do not want this to happen. Have a quickly digestible meal, therefore, to help faster muscle growth. You’ll see, however, that muscle building burns more fat.

Here are some ingredients that you can include in your post-workout meal:

-Whey protein isolate – this is an easily digestible protein

-Pineapples

-Raisins

-Maple Syrup (Natural)

-Yogurt (Fat free or low fat)

-Frozen fruits

A smoothie can be a good post-workout meal. Use a blender to blend 2 frozen bananas and about ½ a cup of berries, along with some skimmed milk and a scoop of protein powder (any flavor), until smooth. Use your personal preferences to pick and choose the ingredients.

A good alternative is taking supplements if you don’t want to take whole foods after your post workout meal. This is because consuming whole foods immediately after an intensive workout session can sometimes be too heavy for some individuals. A sample post workout diet supplement is as follows:

Sugar – 50 grams

Whey Protein – 40 grams

Glutamine – 10 grams

Creatine – 5 grams

Arginine – 5 grams

Add about 32 ounces of water and mix all of the above together.

During your workout, keep sipping a bit of the mixture at regular intervals. Add another 16 ounces of water when you’re half way through your workout. Since body fluids add more volume to the blood, they will help pump more blood during workouts.

People who don’t like to eat immediately after a workout can opt for the protein rich smoothie. Immediately after your workout, consume the refrigerated smoothie. You can refrigerate it for about 40 minutes.

Since the post-workout meal serves a specific purpose – treating the body muscles soon after workout and helping them recover faster – it’s natural for you to have noticed ingredients that are otherwise uncommon in our regular meals. Although rich, this meal helps regain the lost energy but not add any additional calories since all that you consume is quickly absorbed to compensate the loss.

If not more, the post-workout meal is at least as important as any other regular meal of the day. Skipping this meal will only delay both, muscle recovery and growth. Post workout nutrition is, therefore, extremely essential to effective and safe body building.

Maybe it’s time for a rethink if you think you can’t lose weight. I believe everyone can lose weight if they just use the right system for them. It’s not rocket science.

I used to firmly believe I can’t lose weight and would always be overweight. But, I was proven wrong in the end.

I used to go up and down like a lift with my weight. It was mostly ups though. I was then hit by a sudden illness, age onset diabetes.

I wondered if my being fat was the cause but I think I’ll never know the reason. I’ll tell you though it really scared me.

I was now diabetic and I was only twenty seven years old. How the hell did I get old peoples diabetes?

Time to do something about my weight properly this time. No half hearted attempts to lose a few pounds. I had to change my way of thinking on this one.

Over the years I’ve tried everything from weightwatchers to ab crunchers. And some of the stuff has cost me a small fortune. I dread to think how much I’ve shelled out on diet ‘fads’.

What I found was a step by step system that allows me to plan my day and my meals. I can plan meals of a decent size that aren’t going to leave me hungry.

I use a diet generator on my computer that makes it so easy to create my meal plans. I used to stress out trying to work out what to (safely) eat.

I was a sucker for eating any leftovers my kids didn’t eat. I actually thought that it was wasteful to throw it in the garbage. Now I have a totally different mindset and we rarely cook more than we can eat.

If you are like I used to be and still think you can’t lose weight then you need a fresh outlook on things. You can, and will lose weight if you start right now believing you can.

It’s a decision that you will never regret. You may look back and think how ridiculous it was to believe that you actually can’t lose weight.

I like thing to be neat and tidy and that includes my weight loss system. I have daily tasks that I can tick off once they are done. This way I know I’m on the right track to maintaining my weight.

I’ve reviewed some of the stuff I’ve tried including my fav system on my web page. If you think you can’t lose weight, check it out and be prepared to be proven wrong. Are you up for a challenge?

Can’t lose weight? Welcome to the western worlds most popular club.People who think they can’t lose weight are usually wrong. All you need is a system to hold your hand every day and you will drop weight.

Two simple rules to losing weight are exercise more while eating less. The problem with those two sentences is they don’t go into the specifics. What we do need, is an in depth hand holding weight loss system.

If you have a set of rules to follow, rules which will result in losing weight, you will find this much easier.Every day we can follow the rules and be certain we are doing things right. On our own we don’t follow rules and stray from what we should do.

If we go it alone with no system we end up back at the start, obsessing about being overweight.Following a proven system though leaves us as sure as can be that we are doing things right. We can simply check off our daily list of tasks and know we are following correctly.

If we can follow a system every day we know we will get the weight loss that we desire. The hardest part is following the system, and its daily routine. Also helps if we know what the danger signs (or foods) are so we can either avoid or eat in moderation.

Knowledge is everything in this world. Having knowledge of something puts you in a far better position to deal with things. It’s no different in the battle to lose weight. The correct knowledge gives you the edge in your fight to lose weight. There are many reasons why we can’t lose weight, let’s have a look at some.

You simply can’t stop snacking.Surprisingly this could be boredom and not hunger that is causing you to snack. If you must snack find something that won’t pile the weight on. Nuts can be effective against hunger and the right ones are not overly fattening.

Depression. I know this one only too well. I suffered a bad motorcycle accident leaving me unable to work and the dreaded depression set in. It’s a nightmare scenario of a downward spiral that will easily cause you to even give up trying to lose weight. But I know it can be overcome.

Sleep, too much or too little? Either too much or too little sleep can interfere with the body’s metabolism. In the hectic world we live in today it’s very hard to get the right amount of sleep. In fact it’s hard to even know what the right amount actually is. If you are feeling tired through the day there’s a good chance you will eat more to liven yourself up. Be aware of this danger.

Is it your age? It’s a well known fact that as we get older our bodies change. We start to accumulate fat in the most unwanted places. If you know where these areas are, and understand why the fats being stored there, it may help you in your weight loss regime.

Any of these, or another reason could be why you think you can’t lose weight.Get hold of a system that you can follow every day and you will see huge benefits.A system like this will give you the best possible chance to attain your goals.

Diet systems reviewed -:-

Is it worth reviewing any of the millions of diets that are available? I think so yes.A lot of systems (the majority in fact) won’t even educate you enough to know what’s good or bad for you. They simply say “do this…lose weight”. These diets are ones to avoid.

If you can follow a step by step system then there are some good ones that will work for you.The hard part is clearly following them every day. I know this from experience.Read up on what I think of several systems and save yourself some time researching.

Can’t lose weight? Yes you can, start believing it.A good system and sticking to its rules will work for the majority of people. In fact some of the more popular weight loss systems have thousands, if not millions of happy customers.

We’ve looked at just a few of the reasons why you think you can’t lose weight.Let’s also look at some possible systems that will, if followed, help you lose weight. It’s up to you. Make a decision now to get yourself a step by step system and that you will stick to it.

Pole dancing used to be seen strictly as a form of men’s entertainment, but those days are quickly dwindling away. Pole dancing has become quite a popular form of exercise, as the art does indeed require quite a lot of balance and strength in the arms and legs. Women all around the world are seeing how beneficial a pole dancing routine can be to not only lose weight, but to gain muscle tone. So, if you’re looking for a fun workout that you can take at your own pace, then pole dancing may be for you!

Not only does this type of dancing grab the attention of some men, but it will also allow you to burn that fat off. Yes, you will definitely be able to get fit and shed those pounds. This doesn’t mean you have to jump into your car, drive to the nearest club and pay that bar fee. All you need to do is find a pole on the Internet and have it delivered to your home. Do you have an extra room inside your home? Perhaps an exercising room? If so, then this is where you should put the pole up. Pole dancing classes can help you gain that extra bit of confidence, so it could be worth trying a classroom atmosphere first.

If you would like to have a great effect to that dancing room, then you could always purchase a disco ball and put it up. You may even want to add a great stereo in there. Apart from getting fit this way, you may want to invite your husband in to watch you every now and then. Note: during this time, you may want to keep your “exercising room” door locked and make sure the children are in their bed safe and secure.

Not only can pole dancing fitness improve your physical health, but the confidence you can gain from it could last a lifetime. Plus, it’s a great way to break the rut of routine and jazz up your life a bit!

The benefits of aerobic activity are many, and all should be encourage to participate in it. Even if there are chronic health conditions present, regular best ab workouts can be tailored to fit the individual’s needs. A health care provider should be consulted before beginning any type of exercise program, and if excessive shortness of breath or chest pain is present, then the activity should be stopped immediately. Starting out at a slower pace is recommended for all beginners anyway until some tolerance is built up, which will happen over time with regular aerobic activity. A good workout need not make you lying on the floor shouting for help. Everyone say that it is no pain no gain, but this is not true. It is however, very normal for people who seldom exercise to experience some slight discomfort after beginning a work out program, but these symptoms should go away after the body becomes more accustomed to being active.

Regular aerobic activity should put the heart in the cardio target zone, which is computed simply by subtracting the age from 220. This number is then multiplied by 85%, which will be the result of maximum rate at which the heart should beating during aerobic activity. Beginners should only work out at 70-75% their target heart rate until their bodies become more accustomed to higher aerobic activity levels. It is good to always start out slowly and increase the aerobic activity slowly. Any amount of aerobic activity is better than nothing, so get moving! No excuses!

You too can learn how to get abs quick

Take the stairs instead of the elevator, take a brisk walk around the building at lunch time, ride a bike or walk to work if within a reasonable distance, or park further away to get a short walk in.

Exercise for love handles, is it painful? Depends on what you do. It doesn’t have to be painful.

Those nasty lumps of fat at your sides are what is termed as ‘love handles’. There’s nothing lovely about them so where the name comes from I don’t know.

Love handles are actually ‘oblique muscles’ or ‘obliques’, named for the fact they sit at an angle at our sides. Oblique actually means ‘at an angle’.

In the fitness & health industry the standard advice starts with – eat healthily, exercise moderately, balanced diet – and all the other rubbish they spout.

We know what we should do but we need to get rid of these love handles the easy way, without the hard work. Is there a way?

Yes, you could do it. You could eat as you are now but it will take an almost Herculean effort to manage it.

The biggest hurdle you face is that while you exercise for love handles, you only rid yourself of yesterday’s fat. Today’s fat is making it’s way to love handle central.

If, and I say this carefully, you could reduce your intake of junk food you could also reduce the amount of exercise it takes to look great.

It’s all about trade-off. How bad do you want to get rid of your love handles? Bad enough to change your lifestyle?

Or will you choose to work much harder and still enjoy all the junk foods you do now. That one is up to you.

Let’s take side bends as an exercise for love handles. Continue on your junk food diet and do 200 side bends everyday just to maintain your love handles as they are. Or change your lifestyle and do 50 side bends to maintain no love handles at all.

As you will gather from the above, it’s a fine balancing act. Junk food = more exercise while healthy food = less exercise.

As a lazy person myself I tend to eat as good as I possibly can so I can keep any exercise down to a minimum. I still exercise for my love handles but only to stop them re-appearing.

In conclusion, you will get pain if you have to do loads of exercise for your love handles. If you can change you eating habits you can manage with far less exercise.

Do you have what it takes? You might benefit from the step by step weight loss system that I follow every day. Read a review of that & more on my site. Nothing to lose but love handles!
